Our goal is to become the premier courier service in Central Ohio through our prompt and professional delivery services at competitive industry prices. We promise to treat our customers and the cargo we transport with the highest degree of integrity while ensuring delivery in a timely fashion. With more than 30 years in the courier industry, our dedicated staff and drivers will get the job done and do it right.

Service
We are available 24/7, 365, for your courier/delivery needs. We offer two levels of local, same-day service: 2-Hour (Immediate) and 4-Hour (Delay).
We provide courier services for almost every industry, including but not limited to: medical specimen handling, prescriptions, payroll, construction, financial, real estate, legal, architectural, among others.
Our Family
Best Courier is family-owned and operated. More than 30 years ago, our owner, Joe Eckart, wanted to create a company that not only addressed a need but also provided a legacy. Best Courier was the result. Employing more than 12 office staff and 70 couriers, Best Courier has grown to become the most trusted courier service in Central Ohio. He is proud to employ multiple family members and continues to lead while fostering 2nd generation involvement in the future of Best Courier.
Our Community
We support small businesses and individuals. We are proud to support various charities, non-profits, and organizations through in-kind giving, pro bono services, and donations. We maintain involvement with the Ronald McDonald House, Gahanna Rotary, Builders Exchange (BX), BIA (The Building Industry Association of Central Ohio), Columbus Bar Association, and supporting Pelotonia, the James Cancer Hospital, and the Shelli Kazlausky Memorial Golf Outing.

Started in the courier business in September of 1979 and have owned BEST Courier since May of 1989.
I pride myself on taking care of my employees and drivers. 3 of the original 6 drivers when BEST was founded in 1989 still work for the company.
Our long-tenured staff is a source of pride for me and the organization that we’ve built.
In my free time, I love to travel, spend time with my grandkids and dogs, cook and learn about/experience new cultures.

Siriyanee Yimsumruay – Dispatcher
Began at BEST as a Dispatcher in 2019. Previously, I worked with BEST as a driver from 2016-2019. Before that, I drove for the Columbus Dispatch for 13 years.
I am from Columbus and in my free time I love to go to concerts, hang out with friends, read and play video games.
Scott Murphy
I have worked for BEST for 22 years with 28 years in the transportation industry!
Before that, I spent 15 years in the Food & Beverage sector as a Chef.
In my free time, I enjoy singing in a rock band and racing horses.
Kelly Gutshall – Customer Service Specialist
I have worked for BEST for many years but have been full-time in the office for close to 5.
When I am not at work, I serve in my other role as Chief Chauffeur and Coach to my four children. My husband and I coach soccer and softball respectively and can usually be found at the fields, at the ice rink with our 9-year-old daughter’s hockey team, or catching a Blue Jackets or Ohio State game.
When my life isn’t revolving around providing the BEST courier service and BEST coaching advice I can, you can usually find me cooking or reading. This year I hope to beat my personal best of 120 books read in a year, and I am on track to do just that!
Began with BEST Courier as a driver in 2017. In 2019, I transitioned off the road and into the office becoming a Dispatcher.
Native of Northeast Ohio. Drove and dispatched for Acme Taxi in Columbus for 6 years before moving to Denver, Colorado for 8 years. Returned to Ohio and subsequently, Columbus, to join forces with the legendary BEST Courier.
Interests outside of work include creating and supporting live music having played in a band for many years and attending over 1000 concerts/music festivals across the U.S. since 1992. Avid gamer, armchair historian, street philosopher and Christian.
We are Tucker and Alexander Hamilton (Hammy for short) and we are two brothers who love working for BEST Courier. We can usually be found with whoever is eating lunch. Our favorite thing to do at the office is to guard the door and make sure no one comes in unless they are from DoorDash. If you hear us in the background when you call in, we are sorry! We just take our jobs as Chief Guard Dogs (CGDs) very seriously!
